1.2. Introduction: Welcome to GoSuomiCab! GoSuomiCab (hereinafter referred to as 'the Platform') is a digital platform connecting drivers with passengers in Finland. By registering and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
2. Registration and Requirements
- 2.1. Eligibility: To use GoSuomiCab, you must be registered under a taxi company approved on our platform. Taxi companies must have a valid operating license, insurance, and comply with all local regulatory requirements.

- Taxi driver’s license
- Driver’s image, name, and contact number
These documents must be submitted in digital format through the platform.
- 2.3. Approval Process: Registration will be subject to GoSuomiCab’s approval and verification process. You will be notified of the outcome within 14 business days. If denied, you will receive a detailed explanation and the option to appeal. Drivers may reapply after correcting issues identified during the initial application.

After reaching the 12-hour limit, the system will automatically log drivers out until they complete a 6-hour rest period. Commission Structure Explanation
GoSuomiCab offers two commission models:
- Standard Model: A flat 17% platform fee applies to all normal trips without promotions.
- Dynamic Commission Model: For trips where GoSuomiCab applies promo discounts (e.g., €3–€5 rider offers), the platform shares the cost by reducing the commission charged to drivers and companies. This lower commission can range from 8% to 16%, depending on the final trip fare.
Fare Range (€) | Platform Commission |
€14–17 | 8% |
€17–23 | 10% |
€23–30 | 12% |
€30–35 | 13% |
€35–50 | 14% |
€50+ | 16% |
Why this matters?
This model is designed to support drivers by reducing their cost when the platform is actively promoting rides.
It ensures that the platform absorbs part of the promotional cost — not the driver — so drivers still earn fairly, even on discounted trips.
4.3. Payouts: Managed via Stripe/OP/Holvi weekly or on-demand.
4.4. Night Fare Multiplier: 1.2x fare applies between 23:00–06:00 automatically.
5. Data Protection and GDPR Compliance
- 5.1. Data Collection: We collect and process personal data in compliance with GDPR. This includes driver details, contact information, vehicle information, and ride activity.
- 5.2. Data Usage: Personal data is used for verifying registration, facilitating ride requests, and processing payments.
- 5.3. Data Security: We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data. Data is hosted in secure European servers.
- 5.4. Data Subject Rights: Drivers have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of their data, and exercise data portability rights as stipulated under GDPR.
6. Responsibilities and Obligations
- 6.1. Compliance: Drivers must comply with all Finnish laws and regulations.
- 6.2. Professionalism: Drivers must maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service, assist passengers as needed, adhere to agreed pickup and drop-off locations, and report incidents that could impact service quality.
- 6.3. Vehicle Maintenance: Drivers must ensure vehicles are well-maintained, meet safety standards, and undergo regular inspections and timely repairs.
7. Limitation of Liability
GoSuomiCab acts solely as a platform provider and is not responsible for any disputes, damages, or claims arising between drivers, companies, or passengers. Drivers indemnify GoSuomiCab against any claims resulting from their operations or use of the platform.
8. Termination
- 8.1. Termination by GoSuomiCab: Access to the platform may be terminated or suspended for providing false registration information, repeated violations of platform policies or Finnish regulations, or failure to maintain valid insurance or licenses.
- 8.2. Appeals Process: Drivers may appeal a termination decision by submitting a written request to GoSuomiCab support within 7 days of the notice.
9. Amendments
GoSuomiCab reserves the right to amend these terms. Drivers will be notified of amendments via in-app notifications or email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Dispute Resolution
Disputes between drivers and passengers must be reported to GoSuomiCab via the in-app support system. GoSuomiCab will mediate but is not liable for resolving the dispute.
By using GoSuomiCab, drivers agree to these terms and conditions. Please ensure that you have read and understood them before registering on our platform.
